Kathy Dupuy began Mom’s Best Friend in 1994 and continues to run the Austin based company. Prior to launching this household staffing agency, Kathy received her Bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University of Nashville, Tennessee, where she studied political science, communications and theater. Kathy studied European political science at Vanderbilt in London as well. Soon after graduation, Kathy gained experience campaigning for Teresa Doggett for State Comptroller, and scheduling and organizing as the Communications director of the Alliance Defense Fund in Arizona.
Since launching Mom's Best Friend, Kathy has successfully guided the company’s expansion into the larger Texas region by setting up offices in Houston and San Antonio, and franchising to Dallas/Ft. Worth. Kathy maintains regular hours in the Austin office, while simultaneously raising a family of four children with her husband, Stuart. Kathy looks forward to the future growth of the agency by providing many more families with exceptional care, support and trust. |
